WELCOME!
Welcome to the web site of the Muntinlupa church of Christ in the Philippines. Thanks so much for visiting our site.

Our Identity
We are every-day people desiring to be mere Christians. We seek simply to study and practice the only word of God, the Bible. We are not bound by denominational ties, traditions, doctrines, or organizations. We are not a denomination. We have no creeds or confessions of faith; the Bible alone is our source of faith (Romans 10:17). We strive to practice simple New Testament Christianity. We desire to be the church that Christ built (Matthew 16:18)–the church of Christ (Romans 16:16).
Our Worship
You may notice that our worship is distinctive. We don’t use instrumental music. We do, however, believe in music. The New Testament tells us that worship music under Christ’s rule is singing words with one another in praise to God (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16) to teach and admonish each other. We also partake of the Lord’s supper every first day of the week as the Bible teaches us to do (Acts 20:7). Our preaching is also distinctive. We seek to “speak as the oracles of God” (1 Peter 4:11), so you will hear many scripture quotations in the sermon. We give as we are prospered (1 Corinthians 16:1,2). We pray to the Father through the Son (Colossians 3:17). Our worship is not frilly or glamorous, but it is what God expects of us–to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Brief History
A little over a year ago Gregorio Gallardo started outreach for Christ in the Philippine town of Muntinlupa, just outside of Manila. He has been supporting himself for the last year as a math and computer professor at the Muntinlupa Polytechnic College. Gregorio and his wife Marife have three children, two sons and a daughter.
Since the start of the church, a year ago, it has grown to over 50 in attendance. They meet in a small upper room with limited resources. There are many needs that they have and yet there is no complaining from them about what they do not have.
We thank God not only for this young congregation but also for the opportunity that He has given us. We have picked up the offering of God by helping Gregorio with his personal financial needs. There are many more needs that they have of which we will try to address as soon as possible.
If you are aware of any congregation or individual Christian seeking an opportunity to give to mission work please have them contact us. We would be glad to share with all the needs of the Muntinlupa congregation.
Please put Gregorio, his family and the church in Muntinlupa on your prayer list. Also we request your prayers in being able to provide or find others who can help with this work.
